WORKING FIELDS RECEIVES $2M IN FUNDING FROM INVESTORS TO ACCELERATE GROWTH

Investors across four states help fund the regional expansion of fair chance staffing agency

South Burlington, VT (July 18, 2024) - Working Fields has surpassed the $2M mark in equity funding from investors to support its regional expansion. As a mission-driven staffing agency and benefit corporation, Working Fields strengthens communities using a unique peer support model to increase access to employment for marginalized populations and connect local employers with dedicated job seekers. Since its inception in 2017, Working Fields has helped over 3,000 people with employment opportunities at more than 100 companies.

Headquartered in Vermont, operating and actively expanding across New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, Working Fields has received funding from 26 national and New England-based investors to accelerate its growth in the Northeast, some of which include:

From 2023 to 2024, Working Fields has entered three new territories with the opening of offices in Greenfield, MA, Dover, NH, and Lewiston/Auburn, ME. In 2023, community agencies in NH and MA referred 189 jobseekers to Working Fields for services.

With secured funding, Working Fields will continue to build its internal and external infrastructure to grow its new locations and is expanding its MA service area to Hampshire and Hampden County.

Working Fields aims to raise an additional $500k which will contribute to its 2024-2025 growth plan and expansion into much-needed markets throughout the New England region.
