Jennifer joined Working Fields with a background in advocacy work focused on better meeting the needs of justice-involved individuals, their families and communities. She earned her BA in Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz where she began working in the Santa Cruz criminal justice community. During her years working as the research assistant for the Santa Cruz County Task on Justice and Gender, she developed a deep passion for criminal legal system reform. Jennifer came to Working Fields with the intention of using her experience with restorative justice and addressing mental health and substance abuse disorders to support our job seekers in overcoming barriers and reaching their goals.
In her free time, you can find Jennifer hiking, watching movies and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
