BEYOND RETENTION: HOW OUR RETURN TO WORK PROGRAM CULTIVATES EMPLOYEE SUCCESS

Sep 13, 2024
Some insightful reflections and thoughts from our Business Development Manager, Jagos Medenica, on Working Fields' unique Return to Work program.

Growing up, I was blessed to have mentors who taught me the true meaning of generosity and the impact of helping others. Their influence shaped my values and instilled in me a deep commitment to supporting those in need. This passion naturally led me to Working Fields, where I’m proud to contribute to work that truly changes lives. One of the initiatives closest to my heart is our Return to Work program, which helps individuals regain their footing and thrive.

In today’s competitive job market, employee retention is crucial, yet supporting employees who face personal challenges is often overlooked. Our Return to Work program is designed not just to retain valuable employees but to give them the support they need to overcome obstacles and succeed.
This program offers a compassionate, structured approach to help employees facing challenges like substance use or mental health issues. By partnering with Working Fields, we provide access to personalized assessments, guidance, and peer coaching.

We created this program because we believe in the potential of every employee, even those who are struggling. Often, they’re skilled individuals who just need the right support. Retaining and rehabilitating them is not only cost-effective but the right thing to do.
This program has transformed lives and boosted our retention rates. Employees who might have been written off are now thriving and contributing meaningfully to our organization.

The Return to Work program is about more than just retention—it’s about our commitment to our people. By helping employees overcome their challenges, we’re investing in their success and the success of our entire organization.

If you’re seeking a retention strategy that truly makes a difference, consider how a Return to Work program could be part of your organization. It’s not just about keeping employees—it’s about helping them succeed.
